Default Toccoa streamer trout

Spent last weekend fishing the Toccoa with a buddy. We floated the river on Saturday catching around 30 fish altogether. Mostly brooke trout with a few rainbows mixed in. All fish were caught while stripping streamers just under the surface. The fish were hungry and aggressive, several fish launched out of the water taking the fly. The biggest fish of the weekend was around a 16" rainbow caught on another creek, also on a streamer. It was a great weekend to be fishing for sure. It has been fun learning to fish streamers. There seems to be no limit to how you can fish them.

Nice brookies! I still have yet to land a Georgia brook trout.
Looks like y'all had a good time! (And welcome back to NGTO. We need to find that lost account.)

I think the Feds stock brook trout, not the state.

Nice fish
