Well said man! My family visits Edisto Island every year and it's one of my favorite weeks of the year. So much to explore. A big part of my love for all things outdoors is directly related to my time spent knee deep in marsh mud chasing clams, crabs, sharks, reds, trout, or whatever is catch-able...

I've spent many an hour cruising the Egg Bank and with Edisto hazy in the distance.

I dig your style Dylar, that was an awesome post.

I wish I had roots like that.

Nice work. I'm pretty jealous. I haven't found time to hit the best tailing tides this season.

Thanks for all your posts Dylar. You have fishing figured out. Both the beauty of the pursuit and the catching.

I can't say I feel like I've really got anything "figured out," but it's still a lot of fun trying to crack that code.

This whole post is awesome. Makes me wish I had more knowledge of the salt and time to fish it. Solid reds and I bet that jack I bet that think took off like a tank.
