Default Clearing my Dam head

I had to get out on the river today.. Both for my mental state and because it was beautiful weather for fishing. Was fishing below Haw Creek and had several nice fish to start mid morning. I was extremely pleased that I rearranged my chest pack and it paid off.

Missed several nice browns but managed to land 3 or 4. Also caught a nice bow(first one in about 2 months).

I will be out in the AM if the weather holds...

Joe, good running into you and Big T yesterday!

After a summer-long hiatus, I've been able to hit up my local spots a few times over the last month (mostly IF and JB). I decided to make the extra drive and head up to the dam was well worth it. The dam was a nice change of pace from the 1 to 2 fish days I've been having recently. Missed a few, landed a few smaller 'bows and browns, and one decent-sized brown. Almost all were caught using a pats rubber legs + nymph setup. I tried a smaller nymph rig and streamers but didn't manage to land any.
