Hook: Shown on size 10 stonefly hook
Thorax: Gold bead covered with mink hair dubbing
Thread: Dark brown 8/0
Antennae: Tan goose biots
Weight: .035 lead wire
Tail: Tan goose biots
Body: Light brown stretch tubing
Wing casings: Light brown mottled thin skin
Legs: Tan goose biots
Head: Black stretch flex pulled over bead

This is top shelf, Kevin. Excellent tying. Looks like the "candy" line is expanding. Out of curiosity, how long does it take to tie one of these?

Thanks everyone. It took me probably about 10 minutes to tie it. Didn't really know what the finished product would end up being. I was just watching tv and tying. I had a curved shank hook sitting by itself on my tying station so I decided to tie a stonefly. lol

Great looking fly there, man I wish I could tie stoneflies like that. The few (very) basic stones I have tied are UGLY. (with a capital ug)
