Default Destination - Wyoming

As many of you know, a couple of our guides make Wyoming their home for the summer. Jackson and I just got back from a week of Terrific fishing!

2 Cutt Slam certificates should be one their way to back to Georgia!

Here are a few pics of our trip:

Whether you are considering the Rockies (which I highly recommend for the next month), the Keys, the Bahamas, Alaska, Argentina or almost any other destination, we have the gear, experience and contacts that can help make your trip a success!

Question Cutthroat Photo

First, that's a killer photo! Probably one of the best I have ever seen. And interesting in that just this morning on the Davidson I was hosting a brunch for some of our city slicker friends and the conversation turned to trout. One woman asked "why do they call it a cutthroat?". If you could email me a copy of that photo I would really appreciate it for the perfect explanation of that name! E-mail is johnkies@bellsouth.net.

Thanks and if you need a character reference for me don't ask Jimmy Harris - he is a consistent teller of tall tales and backwoods myths! 8- ) Actually I have know Jimmy for a long time. Thanks again and great photos. I lived in the mountain west for a long time and miss it almost every day. --John Kies--

day 3: after ditching our earlier plans based on less than favorable weather conditions, we decided to make a dash for yellowstone to fisnish off our slams. after waiting in traffic for wayyyyy too long. We finally got to the river and couldn't get much going on. After sight fishing to the few fish we had seen all morning with no results- but a single refusal, we decided to fish for the only other fish we had seen, although someone had just fished over him with no results. After just a couple casts, the fish turned around to eat my parachute adams after it had already gone downstream of him. we then tried to hit another area of the park, but the traffic was insanity and basically ate what little time we had left.

Next Day! Sorry It has taken so long, I couldn't quite figure out how to resize the pictures, but all is well! This day was comprised of a hike into a remote brookie stream, a little bit of fishing, and a whole lot of rain, hail, and thunder, but hey! It's not an adventure if something doesn't go wrong!
