French open starts soon. Should hold me over for a bit. Sharapova is back from her horse supplements suspension.

Maybe Bartolo Colon can go play hockey somewhere. He just doesn't seem to be very effective, not like his old days (he's 44). And heaven help the team if he needs to cover first base in a hurry.

Looks like the braves are in dire straights. Stopped watching after bobby left. Thought big sexy retired years ago. I think he'll be ok if he just does what they do in the D.R. and corks his fat...at least for the kids.

Pittsburgh just beat Ottawa in a game 7 second overtime goal. Riddle me this (buck): The Stanley cup take a long time to finish. Yet you'd rather sit through a ball scratching 4 hour game. 1 baseball game is equivalent to half a hockey series. Theres way more action and its physically demanding. I've said it before...if someone like me whose played baseball and was decently mediocre, it shouldn't be a sport. The predators/penguins game is Monday. They throw catfish on the ice! Catfish! I'm going to bed.

The Bravos are like 7 or 8 games ahead of last season so far. And yeah, need to just drop Colon and hope some team wants to pick him and his salary up.

*groan*

To be fair, last night Colon only gave up two earned runs as a pitcher. The rest of that nine-run debacle in the third inning belonged to the defense - Colon, Peterson, Swanson and Adams, all of whom apparently forgot how to
a. run and stay upright at the same time
b. throw
c. catch
d. make good decisions.

Yeah, Dansby is having a much tougher sophomore year. I don't get the defensive lapses though.

I hear you can get a coffee enema for that.

Got some Dominican coffee my folks just brought back, or just watch the the Stanley Cup playoffs, probably more comfortable.

Being forced to watch hockey long enough would purge the system, yes.

Game one of the NBA playoffs is on today to hold yinz over until the pens play Saturday. It's the warriors vs. the lebrons. In hindsight the braves should have probably acquired a different Dominican. I'm sure Franco, Furcal, or even Cabrera would have been available.
