Default Cooper Creek on Friday 10th

I had the opportunity to check our Cooper Creek for the first time yesterday with my son while he was home on spring break. We had a very good day. After a couple (shall we say) mis-adventures lately this trip couldn’t have turned out better. The weather was perfect for fishing other than a little windy in the afternoon. We thought we might get skunked but found a couple nice holes that made our day. I wanted to stay the night and hit Toccoa today but my “wiser” son wanted to get back home to spend some time with his mom before going back to school.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark

Looks to me like a good day out on the water. I would also say that your "wiser son" saved you from having your fishing curtailed by momma.
If you have difficulty understanding the post above, read it out loud and it should make sense. This NGTO member is known for his poor hill-billy upbringing and his affinity for all things from Louisiana (particularly if it relates to LSU). It makes for a poor mix of accents and much difficulty in translation. He was doing well for so long, but now seems to have regressed.

Cooper's is always a treat for me. Great report!

Nothing like camping there for the weekend and catching fish morning, noon, and night...
