Default First Brook Trouts

What a spectacular day of fishing on a blueline in North Georgia. After looking over the map last night I found a creek I wanted to try for my quest to catch my first brook trout in Georgia and boy did it pay off!

Started off the morning with this little rainbow:

Then kept going upstream and found what I was looking for.

Caught 7 brook trout and lost another one before I could net it. THe last 4 I caught in the same hole. I am beyond excited right now. Fish on!

Default Instant Jealousy...

Every time I see posts with the brookies in it it reminds me I have still not caught the most beautiful of all troutchar. I've got to make this happen soon if I can peel myself away from chasing browns...
