Default First time blue lining 4/4

Headed up into the wilderness this morning to see if we could find some wild fish. I was my first time combat fishing...definitely caught more rhododendrons and mountain laurel than fish but we had a blast. And I learned that even with a 3wt you can still airmail a six inch fish downstream when you channel Jimmy Houston on your hook sets

Most of the fish were 5-7 inch range but my wife did get a wild bow that was a larger. Yellow stimi was the fly of the day

Wow! Awesome first BL trip!

I'll share the advice that was given to me when I got started with this bluelining mess..... Bow & arrow cast. Learn it. Use it.

Great report and good looking fish!
I'm so old I remember when men wore tattoos and women wore earrings.
