Default Starter Pistol(s)

Does anyone know anything about starter pistols? I've been given two that I don't need or have a use for.

Where is a good place to see what they are even worth? Or where could I even sell them? Ebay is out from what I can tell.

From quickly looking on Google the immediate searches didn't return much value at all. One was maybe $100 tops and the other $20.

Let me know if you have any ideas or want model #'s.

Thanks!

Talk to a HS coach and see if they want and then donate them. Maybe a dog trainer too.

HS or youth track and field team.
Here's a list of USATF affiliated clubs in Georgia
http://georgia.usatf.org/Committees/...Directory.aspx

Almost everything is electronically timed now even at the youngest levels. I'm not sure of the gun requirements for those systems.

Along with dog training some horse trainers use them as well.

To see what new ones are worth check out

May have some luck at http://ga.milesplit.com/discussion/local

Use Gunbroker.

http://www.gunbroker.com/

I haven't sold there but have purchased there. Very similar to eBay in a lot of ways.

Even if you don't buy/sell via Gunbroker, you can still use it to establish current market value. Check the "completed listings", just like eBay.

Might be good for enforcing stream etiquette.

Maybe we add a three legged race or potato sack race at the next Fall Fling and uses it to start the race. I would pay good money to watch Gatorbyte and Swamp Angel paired up on a three legged race.

As said above, gunbroker (those values can be a tad inflated) for value and outdoorstrader.com to try and sell but probably only talking a little unless something is a particular novelty.

Or torment the cat....

Default Starter pistols

Please text me a photo. May take both. We use them training dogs and gift them to newbies.

I've used armslist before...haven't had any issues just meet at a public place and take the bullets out...but keep an ankle strap in case.
