If you ever have the opportunity to take the Survival Shooting Skills course at FLETC or something similar I highly recommend it, it's a true eye opener. 3 to 5 days, close to 1000 rounds and nothing outside the 7 yard line...

Anchor shot as "never getting back up again".

I personally follow the Joe Biden rule for home defense. "buy a shotgun"!

What would be the best shotgun load to shoot Gatorbyte in the butt with?

Again folks - we need to talk about purpose of firearm or caliber or type of projectile. Jason - what is the desired outcome from shooting the a$$hat in the butt? A .410 with #9 is minimal OZ's of tiny shot and would only irritate a target the size you are talking about. For a trip to the hospital a minimum of 20 gauge with #6 shot is a good start. For a lifelong memory and long / maybe no recovery period, a 12 gauge with a sabot slug would be a fine choice.

Purpose?

Maybe give him a Whittington type of day.

Rock salt is an old timer's way of delivering a non-lethal load to stray dogs or other uninvited "guests". Open the shotshell, remove the shot and refill the shell with rock salt. Delivered to the hind quarters of man or beast, it left a lasting impression.
