I listened to the game on radio today, (my somewhat lame attempt to protest the protests) so I have yet to see that touchdown play that got reversed. But I am assuming it was booth reviewed under very high scrutiny and thus rightfully changed to no TD. Groan and moan all you want about bad officiating, but I think I will just say that the Falcons are 3 and 0 baby!

Oh, here is a nice shot of the girls showing us their Falcon pride (and their belly buttons) after the win!

The worst was kneeling for the anthem in England. Then they standing for god save the queen!?!?

And then Ray Lewis does the double knees (after criticizing kaepernick) which was probably very similar to when he almost fell over in surprise after being found innocent of that murder and had to be held up.

That play was not very clear...but after running it back a few times it pretty evident the knees are NOT down. I think even buck will agree here.

I am really surprised the NFL did not call GOUT-U to get his take on this play. Clearly his Console TV and 40 year old Beta-Max tape machine are way better than the high tech equipment the NFL booth review team uses.

Here is what I agree on; the Falcons are 3-0 baby!

Just look at his knees. Thats all I'm going to say. Also that 10 second runoff rule is BS. If they didn't spent their sweet time reviewing an obvious TD, Stafford could have fired off another play.

Sorry man, but that picture you are touting as evidence was after his knee had already bounced off the turf.

It also doesn't show the Falcon defender grabbing his shoulder on the way down. So - touched by defender and knee on the ground. No TD.

Now as for the 10-second rule; yup that's dumb. Or at least, I don't get it.

His knee bounces off the turf and the defender touch occurred while the pass was still in transition. After the established possession, it was a TD. In the picture no one is touching him. I will say that they should've ran the ball on one of those first two downs from 1st and one, that would have done it.

Well, we will have to agree to disagree. And it is still a W for Atlanta either way.

Now to change topics, I am feeling kind of sorry for Aaron Rodgers today. He has not tasted that much Lambeau frozen tundra since they hired him. The Bengal D has been on him like stink on skata the entire game! I cannot believe the game is as close as it is.

They're coming back. It was 90 degrees at lambeau today!

Well, the Lions are not complaining about the call that ended the game. Here is a quote from an article on WSBTV.com including the reason for the 10 second run off rule.

Quote:
"Had the call on the field been correct initially, the clock would have run out," FOX analyst Dean Blandino, an ex-NFL officiating chief, explained in a tweet: "That's the spirit of the rule."

Lions coach Jim Caldwell agreed that the call was made correctly and the rule was applied properly. He added, though, that Stafford could have taken another snap if the call on the field was made correctly initially that Tate was down inside the 1.

"Certainly," Caldwell said. "We practice it all the time."
