Nothing annoys me more than someone standing in my shank spot when I'm playing a round of golf and I'm much better than an average golfer. Never made much sense to me to take that risk on a busy golf course.

There wasn’t anybody golfing... if there was we probably would’ve left to avoid a hassle.

First of all I always figured del monte was Zappa reincarnate. I guess that's out the window now. But this reminds me of my dad's first business trip at 24 years old from the Atlanta office to Calloway gardens. It involved two co workers, a keg, a vw beetle(this was the early 80s) and getting lost completely. By the time they got to Calloway their boss hit a grounds worker with an errant shot. Conference cancelled, boss stayed with worker in hospital for four days until he luckily woke up and was fine.
So in closing. Don't jump fences, and don't play golf.

Wow reading this post from the beginning just got worse and worse and then came back somewhat to reason.
Is what he did wrong? Yes. Did he add to a known problem that negatively impacted residents of the area? Yes. Did he post his act on a public forum? Yes. All of these things are wrong but like any justice system look at the circumstances.

Were there any golfers that he would have impacted? No. Did he practice C&R? Yes. Is he young and probably not as in tune with moral codes? Yes. So basically, given all that, why try him like a fully functioning adult? Calling him a poacher, a trespasser, or stupid just isn't the way to handle this circumstance and I hope you see that. "Tough Love" only works if you have respect for the person that is giving it and I don't think any of you have any right for that in his case.

Btw, nice bass Del Monte Chucker and I hope you find some Public Access Lakes around the area so you don't get a fine.

To take a step back though, I am not trying to flame this post any further as everything came to a good ending (thankfully). Just wanted to put into perspective some of the things said.

Sir, You have now crossed the line. Do you have a LEGAL music streaming service?

I recommend an hour or so listening to Frank Zappa. Zappa is one of the few artists I can play and my wife will leave the room indefinitely. It is a personal wife repellent. Want to watch football uninterrupted, put on Montana and I am good for at least the first half.

I suggest you start with:
-Catholic Girls
-Dinah-Moe Humm
-Why does it Hurt when I Pee
-Montana
-Don't Eat the Yellow Snow

Granted, Zappa is polarizing and not for everyone.

Uncle Fun for the Thread Save!

My very first concert back in 1975 was Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention in the Fox Theater. He is definitely an acquired taste, but there is no denying his guitar playing skills. Listen to his solo in Yellow Snow; the dude could shred!

PS: his son Dweezel is also a very good guitar player. He tours occasionally and plays his Dad's songs. And ironically, the last time I saw our own NGTO Zappa was at a Dweezel Zappa show at the Fox a few years back. How weird is that!

PS: if you have to buy / listen to one Zappa album, my recommendation would be "Apostrophe"

Funny as I am in the middle of playing Apostrophe. However, when I need a good chuckle I play Dinah-Moe Humm.
