Default Unable to post pictures

I have posted about 20+ pictures over time on the forum. I have been trying to post on the Fly tying thread a couple of pix as I teach myself to spin deer hair. Unfortunately, for the first time on this forum, I am unable to post pictures. I doubt if I can even post a screen shot of the error message. Basically, it says “the file cannot be transferred”. I have experimented with the size of the attachments, no go.
Any idea what is going on? Perhaps maintenance on the site?

I’ll attempt another to see if things are still going on.

No can do, here is a copy and paste of the message.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Easiest way to post pics here right now is to post them on you Facebook page and link through FB. Photobucket has laid a poopie and made posting photos through their site impossible.

Thanks for the tip.

I may try that. I canceled my photobucket account and have not tried the Facebook thing.

Post the photo on Facebook, then when it posts on your FB page right click on the photo. Then from the drop down menu select "copy image address".

Then go to your NGTO post and click on the image icon. Right click and paste the image address there like we used to do with photo bucket. That should get your photo on the message boards here.

Fredw, if you use the Image Icon rather than the Link icon you'll see the image in the post. The Image icon inserts the [.IMG] and [./IMG] tags at the start and end of the link.

Thanks much. I was just pasting the url into the post.
