Default Dukes trip

Called at the end of Aug thinking I could get there in Oct. Well First weekend in Nov was the first trip I could get. Being 2hrs away, I donít want to go unless I am guaranteed a spot.
Started strong and caught fish all day. Changed flies all day, retied several times for one hole, if they didnít hit one fly they hit another. Wish I had video of first fish, cause we (Nathan Crowe, grandson) thought it was a small fish. Then it turned sideways. Saw the the fish good then. The fish started jumping out of the water heading up river trying to go over rocks. Come clear out air born jumping. I was enjoying watching it jump then the trout came down river and Nathan netted it. Beautiful rainbow with bright red cheeks that went down its side. Bunch of wild rainbows with some browns and stockers.
We started at the pavilion, walked back down, road to the end past shackelford, walked back up hitting spots(ALL THEWAY BACK UP, & I mean UPthe road back)
Then back across to section one again.

I can not get pictures to load, donít know why. Did down size them, still no luck.

Nice report. Dukes has been strong lately. Glad your drive was well worth the 2 hour ride!

Default This Saturday

Going up to Dukes this Saturday and I know one of my friends is having to miss the trip so there will be an open spot if anyone is trying to fill in for a no-show on Saturday.
