Default finding fish tips?

So my buddy and I are wanting to try and target some stripers on Lanier towards the end of next month. Only problem is neither one of us have any experience targeting these guys during daylight in late Feb. We've both fished dock lights but that's obviously a completely different game. Anyone willing to share any tips on how to search/locate stripers in these conditions? Any advice is much appreciated!

A buddy of mine does write ups for a local magazine and keeps a blog of his trips. They usually describe where he fishes, what he sees, and what's catching them. Here is a link to one of his blog articles. I think you can get to the others from there.

Good luck!
