Default Welcome Aaron Tyre to The Field and Fly Guide Team!

Visit Aarons Profile Here: THE FIELD AND FLY
Aaron was born and raised in Georgia in a family of fishermen. He has been fishing since he could hold a cane pole with his Great Grandfather in South Georgia. Then his infatuation with trout began at Spring Creek in Rome, GA with his Grandfather. Another Grandfather further developed his fishing skills at Lake Oconee where he fished for Bass, Crappie and anything else that would bite. He was known to sleep on the dock more than once.

But rivers … and trout have always held a special passion of Aaron’s. Through his teen years and still today, Aaron enjoys fishing for trout on the Chattahoochee. He loves learning new techniques and has a passion for passing along knowledge acquired to anyone interested; He definitely has the “Fish it Forward” attitude! His ‘mentoring’ skills showed early on helping his younger brothers. Today, he still has a special gift of guiding young and novice anglers to become comfortable with and appreciate the nuances of trout fishing.

Aaron’s wide ranging background includes some of the finest fishing waters available. He worked in Alaska as a first mate on a Halibut Charter boat in the Kenai Peninsula. On his off time he fished for rainbow trout, salmon, and dollyvarden in the Rivers of the Peninsula. Prior to returning to Atlanta to join Orvis in Buckhead, Aaron managed a fly shop in the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado. When he was not in the shop, you could find him fishing in the Roaring Fork and Frying Pan Rivers, two of the finest trout streams in the world. Aaron now guides with River Through Atlanta Guide Service and The Field and Fly while keeping up with everything else that's going on Fly Fishing!! You can check his instagram out here.
