I wear my AO's everywhere. I actually bought a second pair recently to have my fishing pair always in my vest. I love my Lost Rivers with All Hour Brown lenses.
Anyway, the first pair is about 3 years old now. The design seems to have changed as they used to be hinged with molded plastic that was part of the frame. Now they are using a metal hinge, which seems better.
Anyway, picked them up off the table at a restraunt one night and one of the "arms" fell right off. Never noticed they were damaged. Don't remember sitting on them anytime recently. So, I was in the flyshop and asked if they thought AO might see if they could repair them. They sent them in for me. I figured I'd probably pay for a new frame. WRONG.
Action Optics sent me a brand new pair, with the new hinge design, at a cost of $5 for shipping. Hoowah!

I've had two pair of them for about 5 years now. The finish is kind of ugly, but the lenses and mechanics are still great. I'd buy another pair, but I don't need to.

I have the all hour brown lenses in the Guides Choice frame. I think they are excellent. Last Sunday I wore them until it was almost dark on the river and could still see well enough to tie on a fly. I also have never wished I had a darker pair even in the bright sun. I will qualify that by saying I always wear a hat. I think if I was flats fishing in the keys I would buy a different lense but I can't imagine a better one for the rivers we fish around here... my humble 2 pennies...

Riverman- that's what the All hour brown lens is designed for. I wear them from 7 a.m. till sundown, and sometimes for a period after if I forget I have them on.
They perform great in ALL lighting conditions. Like I said, I loved my fishing glasses so much, they became my driving/all around glasses. Try them out!

And a good pair of polarized glasses is phenomenal- they make driving conditions in bad rain or other crappy conditions safer, because the improvement in you vision is too incredible to believe w/o seeing for yourself.
