Can you please pick up my hat if you find it......it's up the side of a hill, near a nest of very protective yellow jackets.
THanks.

that reminds me of the first time I went trout fishing, it was in the chattahoochee at buford dam, I was wading back up stream and I slipped on a rock and went head first into the river, my hat which was a cap for the Houstan chapter of the GCCA, came off and I wasn't able to catch it as it floated downstream. The next day I cam back to fish again and I was in my float tube floating by a downed tree when I suddenly saw my hat snagged on a tree. I waded over to my hat and grabbed it. I went home and washed it thinking that I should go out and buy a lottery ticket before the luck wore off.

Geeee......thanks CC.

Actually, it was a homemade "bottled water", I think. Notice the tiny red dot on my left arm? MMMMMmmmmmm......I was not feeling so well - but, we were right......and years later, we can laugh about it. The stings, and the head-over-heels fall down the hillside, through the thick brambles and broken mountain laural limbs. Lucky we weren't hurt worse. Be careful in the mtns. ya'll. Specially near the 'Tooga.

I look like that alot after a normal day's worth of fishing, now......boy er I gettin' oldISH.

You know, Owl... the more I think about it, the more I think you and I actually stepped into the SAME yellow jacket nest!

I mean, it looks to me in that picture that y'all parked in the little pull-off right after the first bridge, right?

Funny to think: 2 NGTOers... 2 totally different days... both sitting in a car in the same spot stung by about 25 bees!!!

I say: let the bees have that section (all I caught on it was chubs, anyway)

SF,
Same here......I think that's where we were parked, but it's been a few years, so I can't remember if it was the first bridge or not. Someone was fishing ahead of us, and EG led un into the valley of death.....er..yellar jackets....

...I don't plan on going back.

does anybody happen to know when hunting seasons are or if there are any in Warwoman WMA, as I came across to people while fishing tuckaluge creek, who asked me about bear hunting. I am interested in knowing whether I should where blaze orange and a "DON'T SHOOT ME" sign.
