Just a quick THANK YOU to Braz for hosting the fly tie Sunday evening. Nice meeting all who came. Great food (empanadas where fantastic!), great beverage and great company. Braz, you out did yourself. THANKS!

Thanks, also to EG and Marc.
Great meeting you guys. Finally got the deer Hair to spin right, gonna perfect the muddler minnow and a couple of attractors. Although the experience level was not at all high, it was amazing what little things you can pick up from just chatting and watching, better than any video I think. By the way I give you permission to use my weed block idea at future gatherings. Ok first one was great because it was the first one. Definitely will do it again, but since the fly fling is on for september, I'm gonna suggest we try to set it up for Oct. Braz - Hope to see everyone at the fly fling. I may open up a can of worms with this but check out the post that reads I VOLUNTEER MYSELF. |

Owl, the fact that you did'nt see the directions on the other post was discussed as a group at the table. You were sorely missed.
But in your defense, I did say I would email the participants with the directions. I thought more people would just drop by if the directions were out in the open for everyone to see. Next time I'll keep everything on one page. BRAZ |

I'd also like to say thanks to Braz for the hospitality.
Food and drink so good I messed up two of the three flies I actually got around to tying. I did my best to wipe out the empanadas supply but they just kept coming. I guess I'm going to have to make up another one of those cattle nose rings for the Owl to go along with the one I need to get to NGTO fuctions . |
