I read this board daily, and had the pleasure of meeting and fishing with Hooker as a result. I rarely post, but my friend John and I think ALL of you would enjoy attending these CCTU meetings. Please read on below.

MEETING NOTICE ---
CHATTACHOOCHEE CHAPTER OF TROUT UNLIMITED
Tuesday October 27th

" The State Of Our Waters "

On Tuesday, October 27th, the Chattahoochee Chapter of Trout Unlimited
(C.C.T.U.) will present its members and guests with an environmental update
concerning the coldwater resources of North Georgia. C.C.T.U. members Greg
Moran and Will Wingate will review the status quo, and tell us what 1999 holds
in terms of both promise and threat on the state legislative front.. We will
also view a video prodcution on Ammendent One; the Georgia Land, Water,
Wildlife and Recreation Fund. This Ammendent may be our last, and best,
opportunity to protect critical resources. Be sure to vote YES on Ammendment
One in the November 3rd election. See last month's 'Troutlines' for more
information about the ammendment.

C.C.T.U. meetings begin at 6:30 in the Phoenix Brewing Company restaruant, 5600
Roswell Road (The Prado Mall) in Sandy Springs. We offer a pre-set dinner menu
for $10.00 payable to C.C.T.U. with the beverage of your choice extra.
Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month with the exception of
December. Members, guests, and the interested public are always welcome. To
learn more about the Chattahoochee Chapter of Trout Unlimited, pick up a copy
of 'Troutlines', the chapter newletter at your fly shop.

Downstream:

- November 24th will feature a talk by Neil Dobbs with The Classic
Angler on fishing in Montanta and Yellowstone including both
day trips, and extended horse pack-in trips.
- December -- No Meeting
- January 25th will look at warm and sunny fishing destinations with Rob
Rook. Rob is on the staff of The Fish Hawk.
- February features Sally Bethea (also mispelled), The Chattahoochee
Riverkeeper. Her topic will be announced later, but you know
it will be current and affecting all of us.

We look forward to seeing you - tight lines to all.
