Georgia Women Flyfishers Meeting All Fly Fishers Welcome August 14th 07:00PM Mr. Bimbo's (no pun), 2769 Delk Road, Marietta Topic: Hitting your target with "EYES WIDE SHUT"! Casting 30 feet on target with your eyes closed is what Wonderfully Wicked Wanda Taylor is promising to teach us. Any professional caster will tell you that it is harder to cast 20 feet accurately than it is 60 or 70 feet of flyline. Come learn the tricks of small stream fishing with Wanda. She promises that you WILL catch more fish on the streams after you've heard her lecture. Wanda, Pro Team Director at FLYLOGIC, a supporter of GaWomFly, is also a member of Georgia Women Flyfishers. Bring a friend! In fact, this will be a joint meeting between Georgia Women Flyfishers and Tailwater TU. Welcome all! Remember to bring $2 or a fly for the HATch of the Month drawing for all monies, flies and a hat. Anyone wishing to tie flies with Beth before the meeting, be there for 5:30PM. Email Beth at jandb@mindspring.com or Susan at sabramson@ajc.com for more information. Beth will be out of town just before the meeting - yep, fishing! Directions to Mr. Bimbos: Take I-75 north of I-285. Exit Delk Road to the right. Mr. Bimbos will be on the left. Here's a map of it at Mapblast. Just bringing this to the top. I'm planning on being at this meeting Monday night in Marietta. This should be a great gathering. For those who don't know Wanda Taylor (the evenings speaker)- she has the distinction of being the first woman in the world to receive the prestigious title of Certified Master Casting Instructor by the FFF. She is a Flylogic Pro Team Director, a graduate of the Orvis Guide school, the Joan Wulff School of Fly Fishing, and Lefty Krehs instructors course How to Teach Teachers to Teach. Her husband Gary taylor is a licensed charter boat captain, and has 30 yrs of Fly Fishing experience in the S.Eastern U.S. He was Orvis guide of the year in 1993 and 1994. He is also a Flylogic Pro Team director. Hope to see you there.

Jack,
Didn't the Taylor's run a driftboat guide service for quite a while on the Hiwassee River? If so, another reason to attend. I'll put it on my calender. Drifter |

Thanks for the open invitation. It was a great program! Wanda and Gary were the most approachable and best teachers out of the handfull of "flyfishing celebs" that I have met.
