EG: I owe you a few adult beverages left over in my cooler.
So who ended up riding out the weather for the rest of the weekend??? Yeah, me and my buddy departed but with wet sleeping bags, wet tent, leaky waders etc.. and after catching Grizz's fish (ha ha ha ) it was best to cut my losses..... Cant wait to do this again. Frost bite trip is soon right/?????? |

Great trip. Griz, Adrian and myself stuck it out at the campgrounds. Saturday night was nice. Weather great, a little cool never the less. As always, good food, good friends (some new some old), had a great time.
BTW. The inflatable kayak that I found is made by Northwest River Supplies. Model M1655 sells for $1150. I even had a pump for the thing at home. Pumped it up, washed it off and it now sits in the garage ready to go. What a trip. Owl how is your jacket doing, hope mom did not get mad. BeeDub, you should of seen Owl on fire. You would of been proud! Well time to dry out and resupply the camp box. Thanks again guys enjoyed as always. Maybe we should have a class on wet camping for some of you. Almost forgot, even caught fish. [This message has been edited by HoochRat (edited 11-27-2000).] |

I should have followed Flyrod...
Jacket is fine. Leaving, though, I snapped the tip off my almost brand new St. Croix. I was depressed all the way home and only snapped(pardon the pun) out of it by watching my Jackets kick the puppies butts. ![]() The next rainy camping trip I ever go on will be in an SUV. No more rainy camping for me.....I hated it. Owl flaming ? ![]() whooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa......there. |

I hate to ask this. But after I left about 10:30AM on Saturday it cleared up and was beautiful the rest of the weekend, wasn't it?
Anyway. While I was there, great food by Hoochrat again. Good conversation even though it was in a dizzling rain. |

What a great trip! I hear Owl feathers are not water proof or fire retardant!!! Enjoyed hanging with Hooch, Adrian, Flyrod, Grizz and ole Slickfoot. The food as usual was awsome! Thx again guys!
Oh yeah, I did manage to catch a few Sunday morn. before heading home. Beautiful water! Greg |
