Talked me into it. I'm interested. Getting new tips fitted should not be that difficult. If this is something you are interested in doing yourself, I'll email you some info. If not, send them on. I'll email my address.

I've got 2 rod butt ends of 2 4/5 wt. flyrods and I was going to throw them out when I thought - someone that builds rods may be able to use them. They were 2 piece rods that got broken off 1/2 way up the smallest piece. ( don't ask) Anyway, one is a BPS Conservationist - cork handle/wood seat. The other is a Cortland, I think - metal seat/ cork handle( smallish ) If anyone can use them , or if they can be used just let me know. They're freebies if someone can figure out how to salvage them. Only used the BPS rod twice and it shattered like a twig. Lost my reciept, rod was discontinued - $120 smackers downthe drain. Can you say Orvis, 25 yr. guarentee ?
