I've got 2 rod butt ends of 2 4/5 wt. flyrods and I was going to throw them out when I thought - someone that builds rods may be able to use them. They were 2 piece rods that got broken off 1/2 way up the smallest piece. ( don't ask) Anyway, one is a BPS Conservationist - cork handle/wood seat. The other is a Cortland, I think - metal seat/ cork handle( smallish ) If anyone can use them , or if they can be used just let me know. They're freebies if someone can figure out how to salvage them. Only used the BPS rod twice and it shattered like a twig. Lost my reciept, rod was discontinued - $120 smackers downthe drain. Can you say Orvis, 25 yr. guarentee ? ![]() |
