Swappers and Swapperettes,
RE: Caddis Swap 1999....Were moving into the home stretch as the deadline is 13 days away. I have 108 of the baddest caddis around....lying on my desk. These are top quality flies! Every day this week, I come home to a brown envelope in the mailbox. Little Drifter is having as much fun as I...opening the packages. The Ole Man's Coastal Caddis flew in today. Yesterday Jonathan's Peac0ck Caddis came floating in. Tuesday we had a hatch of "Niblet" nymphs from the vise of David Edens. This nymph should be just as deadly as his Scorpion Nymph! Greg and Mark sent theirs the first of this week. Course my X-Caddis are already tied. Keep 'em comin' If I can get all the entries by the day of the NGTO Meeting at Bimbo's...I'll bring 'em with me to hand out. PLEASE try to make the deadline! If my calculations are right, the deadline is the same day as the meeting (March 31st). So send 'em a couple of days earlier if you can. I might even see if Aaron wants to raffle off (free of course) the two extra sets of flies from the first Fly Swap to attendeees at the meeting. Keep on tyin' The Drifter |
