Let us know how long it takes to get over that guilty feeling. I'm thinking of spending some $ for one myself.
Anyone have any thoughts on the G. Loomis Trilogy rods? I've been looking at 4 and 5 wts. Thanks ------------------ Got Trout? [This message has been edited by BeeDub (edited 11-03-1999).] |

Congrats on your purchase. A Winston is a nice thing to own-and you can get quite a bit of your money back if you ever sell it. Good fishing! |

i bought mine from atlanta flyfishing outfitters. no i didn't get a half day at unicoi but if i bought one i had to buy one from my friend matt. he's a good guy and has helped me out in the past. i got some cortland fly line, in the deal but i think that could have to do with the fact i think i'm keeping them in business.. in fact i think the only reason they moved to across the street from my work was so they could retire in about a year..
ha ha by the way i don't think i will get over the guilty feeling--- when i have toooooooo much to buy for the new house!!!!--- and i need to replace a ton of things because i didn't have a fence for the dog until about 2 weeks ago and he has found his teeth in a few too many things.... by the way thanks to everyone for the imput i really apreciate it -- by the way when i can i would like to meet some of you guys -- and girls on the river-- or creek.. most people that i know don't enjoy fishing like i do. ------------------ Fish On!!! |

Way to go Smitty, you closed on that deal pretty quickly. I’m still dithering about which rod to get for my second rod since mid-summer. Where is Atlanta flyfishing outfitters located? I would hate for there to be a place in town that doesn’t have some of my money.

Very nice rod there Smitty. Was "Abby the wonder dog" still in the case down at Atl FFing Outfitters?

Smitty,
Welcome to the proud circle of Winston owners. I know you will love the rod. Anytime you want to meet to fish, just let me know. I am always looking for an excuse. The Grizz |

Mmm, I may like this DH Amicolola...esp since it's only about 10 miles from my doorstep.
Flying the desk for a bit myself Smitty. Drop me an email anytime you feel like hitting the river again. Best, James |
