OK, anyway......here's a suggestion(again, maybe, I can't remember)
When I post a reply, and then I hit submit...........the board takes me back to the thread.........the thread I just read and posted on.....couldn't it take us back to the topic list for that Forum so we could move on to the next topic? I mean, to check your post you could always hit the back button from there..... waiting for the " if this page does not automatically forward you...." screen to end and then send me back to the thread that I just read and posted to seems redundant... jsut a thought... General, topic, read, post, submit, back to topic list....? |

I like reading my post on the thread after I have posted it.
Owl, you could just hit "next newest topic" or "next oldest topic" from there. I am really not as contrary as I might sound (read). |

I agree with owl and more. I hate the back button "do loop." After I submit, I get kicked back to my new post. Then I hit the back button, and go back to "Thanks for posting.....yadda,yaddda, yaddda...". Over and over and over and over.

BK: Instead of pounding the "back" button, how about clicking on "next oldest topic?" Since your post will be brought to the top as the newest, you can ride on down, one at a time, until you come to the last one you read. Or, you can click on the forum name at the top to get back to the list. Just a thought. Like FlygURL, I like to see how my post looks first, in case I want to edit it.

Owl.
This board, not being custom software, isn't capable of doing that without Aaron messing with the internals. Kinda like the old "no user serviceable parts inside" sticker that used to be common on electronics. I don't recall a way to do that (I'm using the same software on Hammondsfishing.com) without undue headache. -- taught lines |
