Hey jeff or greg, did you guys kick my disscusion off? I was just wondering because this is the second time, and the first time I didnt say anything wrong, did I this time?

If I did just tell me to shut my mouth, I will behave...

We've had some board glitches lately tho so that may have some thing to do with it.

There seems to be a direct correlation between the length of political threads and server problems. I would think the powers that be here could be more up front and direct with the members about why posts and threads disappear. Common courtesy. As Scali said, if some rule is being broken there has to be a more reasonable way to handle the problem than simply disappearing entire threads. My two cents.

Pull down there below on 9/8 and read "Explanation Please". Grady had several that disappeared, lonewolf had some, chuckwagon had some, now scali, Hopper and skibum. I can't see the "selectivity" in this. The comments at OBR have been duly noted and I advised the BOD and asked for an investigation. Basically, Aaron has the keys to the website and is the only one I know that can actually "see" what happened. I can only say that with the problem apparently being limited to the Off Topic Forum, tis a might suspicious.

I dunno, While I think the administrators may go overboard sometimes, the fact that they police the board very heavily keeps the diatribe down to a bare minimum. I don't know of any other place where you can have a discussion with someone about topics that you have strong and opposing opinions and the discussion is civil and devoid of much of the posturing and name-calling that often goes along with these topics. Given the alturnatives, I's say the Administrators are doing pretty well.

I sure hope none of you think that I was saying that the admin were not doing a good job...how is it that this has gotten all turned around into a debate...all i asked was did i do something wrong thats it....If I did I will change whatever it was that I did....If I didnt do anything then It just dissappeared, so please dont anyone think that I said someone was not doing a good job, I do feel that there needs to be control over the board, some people have no respect for the possible children that may be reading,(i am not saying anyone specific) so if we do not have anyone control the issues this problem would grow out of control....I appreciate that the mod. replied so quickly to my question, but I never in a million years thought that this question would stir everyone up...So again I am sorry if anyone misunderstood what I was saying. And Admin I think you do a great job, so do the Mod.

You did'nt do anything wrong, we have just had a few post and threads that seem to vanish for no reason.

Ole Man, I think what we are both saying is the same thing. Selective and suspicious.. Having the problem in only this topic makes it kinda selective. We have'nt lost a football debate right.. (go dawgs)
