Unhappy Ramblin Recks Wrecked!

Any visions of national prominence held by the Yellow Jackets certainly disappeared in Blacksburg with as good an old-fashioned butt kicking as I have seen! I think Grandmother and Aunt Mildred could have done a better job on the Tech offensive line. Oh well, we do have a great academic program!

Unhappy Tell me about it

Good old-fashioned butt-kicking is right.

Too little offense (as usual), as poor play-calling as you'll find in Div. 1 (as usual).

Defense looked good in the first half, but playing a #4 (which should be a #2) on their turf with a stifling defense and possibly the best special-teams ever, we were done before we realized where we were.

Wink Good reason to watch ...

Actually I usually watch Georgia unless I have a freshly-painted room I need to watch dry. It's fun to root for a different team each week, and I get to do that when I watch the Sanford Mutts.

In my former life as a sports reporter, we did a football picking contest and I picked UGA to win most every week. That way I'd be happy no matter what happened - if they lost I was thrilled, and if they won I still got the pick right.

I do like your coach a lot. I hear from some folks who know him well that he's a man of great character. Wish we could lure him away ...

I knew the Jackets were in trouble after the first offensive series. Ball was not Ball. They'll get back on track soon enough.

I did watch the leghumpers and they were not very sharp against the other Bulldogs. I even thought the Starkville Dogs might have a chance.

Exclamation Richt

My parents have met Richt on several occasions and say the same thing, Tim.
