Default Chattooga report 3/2-3

Fished Chattooga Thursday/Friday. 10:30am-2:30pm Thursday. 11:30am-3pm Friday. Thursday was a banner day for big fish but didn't have the camera. Probably landed about 20lbs of fish between friend and I. Broke 4lb test on one. Fish were rising in spots all around. Also, smell of smoke in air along with ash. Maybe a controlled burn somewhere. ? Friday was not too bad but the big ones didn't seem interested. Did get one nice 2-3 lb rainbow out of honey hole. Nothing like Thursday with large and plump fish. BTW-Thanks to all who responded to my PM/emails regarding camping spot on Burrell's. WAS SWEET!!!. But you would need 4wd with any moisture on that road that leads to site.
