Default I NEED PICTURES TO PUBLISH!!!!!

Hey guys,

I'd like to do a gallery in the September issue of GON of some of YOUR pictures!!

I'm going to try to get a few color pages so that the amazing colors can be displayed, so any pictures you have of you and a nice (you define nice) brown rainbow or brookie would be greatly appreciated!

Here's the catch - You tell me what time of year you caught it, your name and where you live, and the name of the stream/river where it was caught, THEN make up a fake name for the stream you caught it in! I'll publish the fake name and leave most of our readers dying to find out where they were caught.

Please email any and ALL pictures 300dpi in a high-res JPEG or tiff file to cannon@gon.com (and please copy davidrcannon@hotmail.com).

Thanks! I look forward to your submissions!

I'll bite. I'll email you a picture, though I have no idea what you mean about that size.

Flash,

Thanks man!

If you are pulling a picture straight off of a digital camera, it is probably set at 300 dpi (dots per inch). The higher the dpi, the better resolution you will have and the more clear the picture will appear. We have to have a certain dpi for photos that are to be printed in the magazine so they print clearly when the magazine is sent to press. Too much info? Probably....

I'll shut up now!

Thanks again.

David
