Default Hooch this Weekend?

Anybody going to be around Jones Bridge or a little down river this Saturday or Sunday?

I'll be up from Warner Robins...

Default JB fishing

I live a few minites from JB and consider it my "home waters". I would like to join you for a float from the ramp to the Judge area. The thing is I do not think I have seen the Medlock Bridge turbitity less than 10 in two to three weeks (I check it most days). It cannot be rain so it must be the result of heavy dam releases which send the turbitity to 500-1000. Right now it is 14 and could easily be fishable (8 or less) this weekend depending on rain and dam flows. Anyway send me a PM. Maybe the rain/dam gods will be good.

I've often seen turbidity readings in the 20's lately when the water looks very clear on the hoochcam, so I don't really trust them. I'm guessing it could be due to someone wading in the vicinity of the guage, or something like that. Anyway, it's reading below ten right now, so tight lines to all

Thumbs up Thanks for the heads-up

You are correct about the reports being off. I went to JB about two, with the Medlock turbitity reported at 16. Anyway JB was clear as a bell when I got there and still clear at six when I left.

Slowhand,

Was that you in the tube on Saturday? I was on the shore where the trail sneaks out. I arrived late and was rewarded with thunderstorms and a wet ride (no doors on the jeep). Of course, when I have weekend kitchen pass the storms roll in and blow out the river...
