Montana was fantastic this year! Kelly and I landed 180 Trout each and Lord knows how many we lost......
We hit the Yellowstone River, Gibbon River, Gardner River, Madison River, Slough Creek, Mill Creek, Big Creek, Taylor's fork creek, Haylite Creek and upper Haylite. We used a size 10# & 12# Adams Parachute that landed us 75% of our Trout..... The Yellowstone River produced some 20 to 24 incher Rainbows...... Slough Creek was very productive as well with a 20 inch Cutthroat...... I would have to say that Mill Creek and Taylor's Fork were to of the Best with quality fish that I've ever seen!! Both creeks were consistant........ Pebble creek was also a very nice place to fish even if the trout were small......the miniature Cayon was so cool to be in while your fishin' up stream..... water was so clear clean and crisp! The Gardner River produced us some Browns......Lambster did loose a nice one in the grassy bottom....... Meadow fishin' was so much fun on the Gardner and the Gibbon rivers!! Rule of thumb......get on these two rivers early!!! Mr. Copper landed me (4 ) large Trout! This new streamer is very flashy and does bring up the big Fish! |

Pictures!?!
Sounds like fun. You need to come down to Colorado and fish the Plattes as well as other slews of rivers and streams.
