Default AJ Green commits to UGA

AJ Green is a Scout.com 2008 "100 To-Watch" member and early favorite for the nation's top prospect honors. He's a receiver out of South Carolina at 6'4" 190 lbs. He mostly plays receiver and running back but is also an exceptional corner back. This last weekend he scored 5 TDs in the game and has his sights set on Athens. He's done the official commitment routine. Let's hope it sticks! He's come for a visit and likes the coaching staff and facilities. I think the dawgs could learn to like him too!

Default Like that's unusual

Just as long as Phattimus or Urban don't try to get him on the rebound from Doo Doo A & M Juco league.

Caleb King (RB) also committed to UGA a week or so ago, and is a great pickup for the Dawgs. He went to my former high school, which current UGA full back Brannan Southerland also attended. I can't wait to see those two line up in the I and pound it up the middle (I'm crossing my fingers that they get to play together).

If y'all remember correctly we also signed Arkansaw runner Mcfadden a few years back. The UGA actually declined to let him stay because of acedemics. UGA coach calls Arkansaw Coach and wham! You have a stud running back in the oposite division.

We do turn down a few!

Go Dawgs
