Hey everyone! I thought I'd show you my latest photos. I haven't been carrying the camera since I dropped it while landing a steelie about 2 weeks ago! I managed to find a nice pod of fish about 1/2 mile from the house in a creek that can't be 10 feet wide. I had three fish on in about 45 minutes of fishing. Why didn't I fish any longer? Well, it was snowing and it was about 25 degrees! Yes, I am a wimp! Enjoy the pictures. I brought this one home for a friend who wanted a fresh fish.

Chris, That's awesome! I read that the salmon running around the great lakes are bigger than they have been in some time. I'd love to get up there and try my hand at that!

The Salmon only run out of the Lake Ontario tribs. (Well, I can't speak for the Western Great lakes!) I heard that they were huge this year. Especially the Salmon River near Pulaski, NY. I think that is about a 4-5 hour road trip from me here in Erie, PA. The Salmon run is over and now they too are chasing either Steelhead or big brown's.
