On River Hands-on Trout Fishing Mentoring by Jeff Durniak before the Spring Fling

Again, just organizing a bit.

With the help of Jeff Durniak, we are going to put together a Mentoring Program for that morning of the Fling. If you are new to flyfishing and want some help, come on out. We are going to fish the lower end of Bowman Island and I have heard there may be a little extra trout in the river that day. We have also asked the Corp to keep the water off it at all possible that morning so we should have good fishing. If you want to participate in this new event, please let us know so we have some idea of the number of folks that are going to be there. You will need to have your own rod and waders but this is a great way to get some help catching fish on the river.

Right now, it appears the following have shown an interest:

Tenderfoot
Tacklebox (if he's still tubeless)

Sticky to be removed by Monday, 26th.

To give a little update on the Mentoring Program. We will meet at the Hatchery and then shuttle down to the spot below Bowman's Island where the fishing will take place. We will go down there at 10:00 am. Have your rods together and waders on so we are ready to go. We will be fishing until 11:30 and then head back for lunch.
