Default How's your July been??

Mine started off good, I caught my first 20" incher at dukes on the 4th. Then my son was born on the 9th and thats when things got crazy.
I work for a gym in Alpharetta with one other employee. Well, that same morning my wife went into labor I recieved a call from the other employee's boyfriend at 6am saying she was in the hospital sick. Funny thing about that was the owner of the gym was on a cruise. I ended up working the next day and then "sleeping" at the hospital the next night and then back to work at 6am until 9pm. Same schedule Thursday as well, 6am-9pm. I was paid no overtime.
Two weeks later, this past week, the owner had a sit down meeting with me and the other worker and told us basically= we're so poor of workers that he could pay us $7 an hour and that we are dead weight. He told us at the end of two weeks that he was going to let one of us go. That was last Wednsday.
Well today, on my day off, I went looking for jobs in the morning. In the evening I fished at Tammen park. After the past couple weeks that I've had I needed some dumb fishing. I figured what better place to lay down your burdens then "by the riverside". I caught alot and missed many. I was walking out at about 8:30ish and my phone rang, it was the other employee. She let me know that we were both getting fired. As soon as she let me know he called and repeated those same beautiful words. So without notice and a week before he was supposed to let us know which one he would let go, he let us both go.
To make matters worse, on the way home my cell phone stopped working so I couldn't communicate what just happened to my wife. -and finally on the street in front of our apartments I was 2 seconds from home and some mysterious car pulled up on my bumper quick.....yep, I got the "blue light special"!! After a few choice words to myself the officer approached the window and asked how my "evening was"? HAAA! I said, "I lost my job an hour ago, how's your's?" He asked me if I'd been drinking..might as well been. He let me off with a warning for "crossing the center line" and I literally drove across the street into the apartments and home.
I'm not so sure I want to see what August is going to be like
Prayer might help, thanks Fit.

That's tough. But, tomorrow is another day. If you need some part-time work, send me a PM.

I'm going to call the Alpharetta newspaper and see how much a small ad would cost. I think the community should be made aware of his "business practices."

R.G. ,
P.M. me your resume or training/experience, and what you are interested in doing for work. I have some business contacts and buddies in Atlanta and the surrounding area. I will pray for your situation. God may have given you an opportunity to step up to a more rewarding occupation.
Tight lines!
Jimmy
