Hit the dh today around 9 am and fished till dark. Had a great day on
the water. In true rabunite fashion helped out some newbies and got them on some fish, gave some flies away and made some new friends. Had a 50 plus day, mostly bows with a few browns in the mix, including a few in the 15-16 inch range, a 19 incher, and a 22 incher. All the big boys were browns. No brookies today. All the bows and some small browns came on a 20 bwo with a 22 pt dropper. The rest came on a big ugly rubber legged fly. The 2 big boys came from the same hole on back to back casts. I have enclosed a pic of the 19 incher(the one by the flyrod) and the 22 incher( not a great pic but I was trying to get the pic before he flopped back in) ![]() ![]() lurch

Oooooh, nice! Looks like the browns enjoyed that nice spike in the flows over last few weeks. Nice fish. Noticed your interest in herps--I would be all about combining a fishing and herping trip sometime.

Those are definitely some good looking browns. I can't wait for a day off... Just can't find the time anymore...
These reports keep me sane during the times of fishing drought... Appreciate it... --Alex

I'm impressed by the color on those fish, especially since their fins aren't rubbed off. Any chance they're not stockers?

There is always a chance of a wild fish in the tooger, althought it has been my experience that the wild ones have large black and red spots spread out on the flank, as opposed to many small black freckles. (Does that make any sense?) Those are some might fine browns, sounds like a great day.
