Summer Boo Gathering Video

It's kinda funny that early in the week we were all worried about maybe having to deal with Hurricane Hanna, but Saturday turned out to be an almost perfect day for the Boo Gathering. Thanks to everyone for bringing all the fixin's. The food was great- Roosevelt Bean, Brunswick Stew, homemade pies, homemade "peach juice", and good ol' Bubba Burgers!

Thanks Buck Henry for arranging everything. That's a tough job. Bill's rod stand was a great idea. Glad to know you got a backup talent should the bamboo rod building business hit the skids! (That's not likely to happen, though) Thanks to both Eric Cook and Bill Oyster for some free casting lessons. Thanks to Howink for the shuttle service.

This has turned into a great event and there is no doubt we need to do another one in the Fall. And that is truly great news about Mark getting his gear back.

I don't know which Trout Bum owned that vehicle with all of those rod tubes in the back, but he should seek immediate professional help for what is clearly an out of control addiction!

Agreed, that was one of our best boo gatherings yet and I can't wait for the next one.

Excellent video Jeff, and thanks again for hosting what is really turning into a pretty major event. Soon folks will be digging up cane rods just to have an excuse to come to thes get-togethers!
