I plan to fish the DH on Sunday. How's it going there? Are there still fish, or have they been poached. Or is the wild water a better option? Could any one please PM me any points of interest. I've only fished the area twice. Both times were tough. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks fellers, Justin

Thanks Jimmy......Wait I also just realized,.....Is seasoned closed for wild sections in GA?
It is till the 7th right? So I suppose I'll be fishing only DH or year round. I have a Reservation for Dukes on Sunday for SlickRockTom and myself. We'd like to find good productive(LEGAL ) water for Sat. and Monday Afternoon. I's the Tooga for me? Last time I was at the tooga, I fished upstream of the DH. I camped at one of the campgrounds and fished downstream about 5miles to the DH. I didn't catch one fish or scare a thing. I was just so sore that I was about to track 5 miles back to camp. As I got ready to make my walk. I met two fellas who said they would give me a ride back to camp. It turns out these two guys were NGTO's Chuck Morris and B Kar Ma. I'm still grateful for that one. As soon as I got to the DH I started to catch fish, so I'm hoping this might just be the case. Jimmy thanks again for the link. How's the fishing up in your neck?

Justin,
Thanks for asking. I haven't been much here lately, but a couple of weeks ago for about 3 weeks running, I went to my cousin's place at Lake Martin AL about 70 miles from my house and we caught some nice crappie at night. I need to get back to trout waters soon! Tight lines! Jimmy |

The fish have been treating me well lately which I would say is good considering that I've only been trout fishing for a couple of months now. I've caught fish upstream of the DH, at the DH, and downstream. Most of my fish have come on copper johns and PT's with a few coming on regular old walmart adams. My best advice would be to scout out some new areas on the River because the DH is just too crowded on the weekends.
