Two days in a row I have seen coyotes along Bull Sluice Lake.
Yesterday saw one, today I saw two of them. They are on the island directly across from the 315 mile marker. Both sightings were in broad daylight. Seems like they are working the banks. This picture was taken with my cell phone. ![]() Here is the location: ![]() |

Lots of nesting geese and other easy targets of opportunity there...I know the area well and with all the restrictions on hunting (understandibly in such close proximity to homes/schools) these wily yotes have NO worries.

Can't really tell by the picture, but it looks like a Coy dog, half coyote, half domestic dog. I have a suppressed 22 that loves the Coyot's. Usually the Coy's will have a lighter coat and there muzzles are not as long.

I saw one this past summer along the bank trying to sneak up on one of those big blue heron birds. It was located just upstream of abbotts bridge, around the pasture area. It caught sight of me and just walked off. It was definately a coyote.
