I haven't posted anything in a while (mostly because of school and baseball taking up my fishing time) so i figured my first outting of summer might be a good time to post. I took my friend, who's new to fly fishing, in hopes of exposing him to something other than the world of bass fishing. We got there at about 1:30. The water was stained (I'm not a good judge of how badly stained it was). I lost 2 immediatly thanks to my stupidity of using 7X tippit. About 20 minutes later, I heard him yelling downstream from me and when I looked he was hooked up. Then I got in a groove and began to land some nice fish. We were there til about 6:30, and then we decided to head out because of the weather. Very good day. I had a total of 9 fish, 4 browns 5 rainbows. My friend caught 3, all rainbows. Most of the fish were on a size 12 BH Prince, size 12 Y2K's, or a size 16 silver lightning bug. The two I lost in the begining were on a flashback hare's ear. Here are a few pictures of two of the fish. I thought the rainbow looked wild. I'm not a good judge so if anyone can tell I would be very thankful.

LL -
First, the "official" USGS site said the river was "muddy" yesterday (teens & 20s) so congratulations on catching anything. Second - hard to tell about "wild", but it sure has a stubby nose!
