Had a week without NGTO while traveling. Thought the site had crashed out but it is all fine and good today since I am back in the ATL. I guess using a WiFi connection on my smart phone through a hotel in Paris gets you the boot. No message board, no general NGTO website. Nothing.
Saw some guys fishing right in the middle of the city. I wanted to go fishing with them but wisely chose not to. Made for a more harmonious trip! TH

The board is tuned to reject many non-USA IP addresses as a way to cut down on spam and malicious garbage. But it's not consistent, at least not in an obvious way; sometimes I can access the board from outside the US, and sometimes I can't. Such as Amsterdam.

Good idea. And, yes, Amsterdam is probably a good IP location to lock out IMO. I didn't try from there but did a few times in Paris downtown and at the airport. No go all around.
It worked for me from FL though in the summer? ![]() TH

Uhhh....Ted? I realize that FLorida is sorta-kinda outside the US culturally and philosophically (I grew up there), but technically it is a member of the 50 US States so yes, access should have worked out of the box.
