Does it float or sink when you use it?

Great looking fly and realism! I'm curious, is this something that a trout would go for? Not trying to me a smart arse but really wanting to know.

I'll second brilliant!
Chuck would you explain the leg material and how you bent at the knees.

Thanks, Danny

Danny, et.al.,
The legs are simply 4 pieces of 16# test stiff leader material tied in as an "X" pattern with the natural curve of the material curving up. (Left front and right rear are the same piece) (Hint: Flatten the tie down area with smooth jawed pliers or hemostats.) They are then cut to length and a piece of 6# test stiff leader material is glued on to the ends with a small ball of a Shoe-Goo mixture. If needed small drops of the Shoe-Goo mixture may be added. When dry, these bottom legs are trimmed to length. Last step is to coat the legs with black nail polish.
You can also just use a heated needle and bend the mono at the knee joint and then add something to simulate the knees. This method would result in a more durable fly. But you have to be careful when bending the mono.
groundpounder, yes, trout will hit these, but they are probably more effective as a bream fly.
