Default Hello all

My name is Brian and I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been flyfishing on and off for several years. I say on and off cause I haven't gotten into the Georgia flyfishing fully but I'm really wanting to embrace it. I have fished the hooch before and found it fun I just need to start going more!

I have lived in Colorado twice. The first time I lived in Meeker on the White River and the second I lived in Steamboat (just moved back in July) near the Yampa. I have also fished the San Juan, Arkansas, Colorado and numerous less popular rivers and backcountry streams. Going back first week in March to ski but was surprised by my girlfriend for Valentines with a guided trip on the Yampa when we are out there!

Anyway, I look forward to talking and listening to some flyfishing and hopefully getting back into it in Georgia.

Default A Big Hearty Welcome!

Hi, YampaFisher. Welcome to the board; you've come to the right place. There is a wealth of information to be gleaned here, and great people to meet. Ask a lot of questions, don't be shy about throwing in your own two cents, and you will find it a rewarding experience. Be sure to come to the Spring Fling to meet some people and have some great BBQ.

Welcome to NGTO! And I am certainly jealous of some of the waters you have fished out west! Please make plans to attend our annual Spring Fling on March 20th up at the Buford Fish Hatchery. Guaranteed good time, great BBQ, and totally free!

Welcome aboard! Georgia's freestone streams certainly aren't Colorado's match, but ours require less driving and let you work on your subsurface presentations. Lemonade, don't you know?

And I see your priorities resemble mine on March 20! There are informal Meet-n-Greets at various times and locations, so you may have an avenue to meet folks somewhere besides a parking lot. But that works, too!
