Default Dam area report from saturday

well I was planning on going crappie fishing saturday but the particular creek to a lake I was planning to fish was muddy from the rain. So I ran up to the dam and caught some 10 browns and 2 bows. Biggest of the bows was 14 and the other was wild and 7 inches. biggest brown was 12. They were hitting drys most of the day and I was tearing them up on a yellow klinkhammer with a paraloop emerger. I also nymphed up a few with a prince and rainbow warrior

Nice to read about a stream born bow at the dam. That has to be rare. Good fishin' with you the other day, even though you fished about 2 miles ahead of me and MBA and spooked all the fish.

I think I might have gotten a little stream born bow as while a little while later after I passed you on Saturday, RBL. The rest were all small browns, with one larger bow thrown in. I didn't stop to try and fish the hatch too long because I was worried I was going to get caught out in the storm that was approaching, but it was great to see some good dry action.

I see this is your 1st time fishing with RBL

It's nice to hear the bows are reproducing as well.

Oh how I yearn to catch a bow at the dam. Lewdog, I love the avatar. Can't wait for the new season. 6 episodes isn't enough of kenny powers
