Thumbs up Which should an expert like me use.

I can't decide whether I should use a pink Trout Magnet or a round Salmon egg this weekend to fly fish with on Lake Allatoona, any suggestions?

A trout magnet under a popper will catch more bream, small bass (and maybe a few crappie) than you can shake a stick at!

I know nothing about Lake Allatoona. Are there trout in it?

No, there are no trout in Lake Allatoona. In fact, some argue that there are no fish in Lake Allatoona.

This time last year there was no water in Lake Allatoona.

I would try a salmon egg on a trout magnet trolled behind a banjo minnow while eating bread nuggets. Best fished on a 2 wt 14' Eagle Claw spey rod using a half and half line (front half floating, back half sinking).

Nothing but carp and mud cats in Allatoona ---and they'll eat anything. You can't go wrong. You might want to try some of that Chuck Morris Dry Fly Stink Bait --available in the Fly Shop at Walmart.

Then I suggest using the wild oatmeal sport-O-truse dog
and cat hair pleakh jtocs in obscure tree rot. That's a
great pattern. If you don't have one I'll gladly send you
one for free, but the postage and handling will run you
$1,326.99. Is there tax in Georgia? If so, don't bother.
