Just because the weather has turned cooler, doesn't mean the fishing has slowed down. Just the contrary. With colder weather comes clearer water and LARGE schools of Red Fish. The winter schools are forming, and it isn't uncommon to chase reds that are in schools of 50 to over 100 fish. We chase these fish in water so shallow that you can see them finning and tailing. Sometimes they are so thick, you can feel them bump the bottom of the skiff.
There are several low tide flats within a short run of the dock that make a 4-6 hour trip very productive. Plus, the trout are really turning on now. If you are planning a trip to South Georgia, stay an extra day and enjoy this GREAT Fall/Winter fishing.
