Default Settles at lunch anyone?

Coming into the big city today to drop off the kids with the grandparents and then I'm heading to Settles around noon. Never been so any company would be welcome. I'll be in a black Volvo station wagon. cell 706.296.1982.

I was hoping to be up there this morning till afternoon but the release does not end till 9:10am.

However, you should be hitting it just about when the water starts going down.

I'm torn between heading down to the DH or waiting till noon to fish Settles. If you see a gold GMC Sierra with NGTO River Pirate sticker on back window, that's me and I'll be fishing somewhere below the bridge.

Any idea on how the lake turnover is effecting the fishing? My brother and I went last Sunday and it was tough fishing with very little surface action. Spent most of the day dredging midges and stripping buggers with little results. Slowest day i have had at settles in a year. I am hoping to hit settles tomorrow and the fish will come out to play

I fished below the dam other day and the turnover was in full swing. The slowest day I've had out there in awhile. I would hope Settles is far enough down to where the water has picked up oxygen, but the stain will still be there, but that can be a good thing.
