Default Wild feesh from today...

Decided to go up a little bit further into the mountains and see if I could catch some specks in a BTB enhanced stream. Caught some rainbows and a couple of browns down lower and then the brookies above the barrier falls. Missed one brookie that was probably about 9 or 10 inches but caught some good numbers of smaller ones though.

Should be a dead giveaway to anyone who knows brook trout...

Ya know,RBL. . . Generally I'm like enny other redneck that likes to git the BIG fishies on the line, but I swan to goodness, the way you brung them little ol' brookies to your hand is truly an art form. Nicely done!

I figger that by the time I reach the age of 51, I might be half as good as you are now. (It truly does kill me to admit this to a young-un.)

I know that lil patch of water and the fish in the last pic is a pretty nice fish for that area in my memory. Well done, makes me want to go traipse around there again, been a few years since I wasn't distracted from the "main" stream there.
